You will:
- Install and patch databases
- Do sizing and tuning of databases
- Be responsible for monitoring and scripting
- Backup, restore and clone databases
- Perform query tuning and optimization
- Review DB design and code
- Develop additional database components for the application
- Support the product development
- Maintain and create technical documents in English
- Working with E-Banking application
You have:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with MySQL/MariaDB and/or PostgreSQL databases
- Knowledge of Linux OS
- Experience with SQL and bash scripting
- Experience with Oracle databases will be considered as a plus
- Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes will be considered as an asset
- Experience with Git is also a plus
- Strong analytical skills, systematic approach, and independency in fulfilling duties
- Willingness to learn and improve skills
- Ability to work well within teams
- University degree in computer science (or equivalent)
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
